Skies of Fury DX

Created in Unity for Nintendo Switch console

Worked on Skies of Fury DX, a World War 1 arcade action dogfighting game for Nintendo Switch. I was the sole developer for the majority of the project, worked on programming related tasks as well as some game/level design work. I worked closely with the Switch dev kit hardware, solved various issues with porting the base mobile project to the new hardware. Also ensured technical quality, the game was locked to 60 fps with new graphical effects and has very short load times. 

I was tasked with core game functionality, from gameplay, multiplayer, UI, AI, sound, etc. I implemented console exclusive features, such as HD Rumble and Joy-Con support, allowing the user to play in various controller configurations. Refined and added new gameplay features, such as new mission types, a skill tree system, player feedback and more. Also worked on split screen multiplayer, allowing up to 4 players to co-op in survival mode or go head-to-head in versus. Lastly, worked on and submitted patches that added features requested by the community.
