Sky Warriors

I worked on the Sky Warriors VR Motion Chair arcade game. It combines Virtual Reality and a D-Box driven VRX motion chair to immerse the player in a realistic World War 1 action game. Game was shown at various events, including E3 2018 and IAAPA. 

I built upon the existing project, improved and added UI, AI, audio, effects and gameplay elements. Helped create an arcade-like experience, giving bursts of excitement during the relativity short play sessions. Also created functionality to automatically transition the game to a non VR experience if the user removed the headset. 

I created the functionality to drive the chair’s motion and move in sync with the player’s input. Also layered movement with other events, such as player shooting, taking damage, plane crash etc. I ensured that the movement provided by the motion chair was gentle enough not to create motion sickness when playing in VR.
